Welcome! I’m Christy Robinson, and I deal in digital content, SEO, web production, social media and writing near Dallas, Texas. I kept this website back when I wrote about running, until around 2016 or so. Please enjoy it, or read more about me:
I’m no perky, lifelong runner. I started running in earnest in 2003 or so, and I never thought then that I’d have three half marathons and one full to my name. I’ve improved over the years, learned things, and benefitted from running in ways that can only be felt, not written (won’t stop me from trying, though). I’ve made mistakes and paid for them in injuries, surgeries and starting over. There’s more I want to accomplish. I’ll continue to chronicle that journey.
My aim for this blog is to offer insight and inspiration for others on a similar personal path, and to provide observations and information about running in Dallas.
More about me
After majoring in journalism, I worked at The Dallas Morning News, Cowboys & Indians magazine, NeimanMarcus.com, Advocate Media, for a global IT services and staffing firm, and now for North Texas public media station KERA in Dallas.
My professional experience comprises lot of the moving parts that connect digital content with human beings: web strategy and production, writing, project management, SEO, audience development, social media engagement and management, editing, analytics, web production, and copywriting. The topics I enjoy writing about most are fitness, travel, faith, race and gender. You can see a few examples of my published news feature writing here, along with other work samples.
I’m available for freelance work, collaborations, and product reviews. Send me a message:
